Justin and Kristen danced all night, and THAT’S the kind of crowd I like! The overall wedding was perfect: cool weather for the ceremony, delicious food for the reception, working with Deana and her crew @ Sassy Soiree, and spending time spinning some awesome music at the S-S Ranch… this was truly a recipe for success.

The overall playlist was… interesting; and I mean this in a good way. It’s not often that I get to jump from antebellum-esque country music to rap and end with a mini-rave. Overall, it was a great night! Check out the pics and video below!

The definition of ironic is a when a bride thinks that being in the business for this long, I’ve seen it all and her wedding may be just traditional, when in reality it was one of the more unique ones yet!

Julie and Clay are an amazing couple whose personality fills up the room. They held their ceremony in Solomon’s Castle in Ona, which is near Wauchula. Solomon, her grandfather, built this castle from scratch. The reception was held in her parents’ house, which they also built… to look like a room made of chocolate (from the outside).
Sure, the location enough was unique, but even better was the delicious food the family served (not to mention the amazing food at the Boat on the Moat restaurant) and the overall gratitude that exuded from Julie and Clay. The best part was when Julie decided she wanted to try to mix a couple of songs in! It was a great wedding; Monica and I had a great time as you can see in the pics and video below!

For Stephanie & Shawn’s wedding, I felt like XZibit on a new show called “Pimp My Tent.”
The wedding was hosted in their spacious backyard, and the tent looked amazing thanks to Deanna, Matt, and their staff at Sassy Soiree. However, as stunning as it was, it became even more awe-inspiring after Brandon and I set up an amazing lighting setup. It wasn’t overly complicated, just three stands with floods, a couple simple effects, some white floods and a monogram; but the look they create was stellar. They were wirelessly controlled with our computers so every special event had it’s own dramatic scene change.

Thank God that Deanna showed Stephanie and Shawn how important lighting is, as it would’ve been dark without it. Even tent lighting alone isn’t bright enough.
The party itself was pretty intense, highlighted halfway through with a fireworks show! Check out the videos and pics below!

Liz & Shaun have an incredible set of family and friends who really wanted to party!

They chose the beautiful Paradise Cove in Orlando. If you’ve been there, then you know that the only lights in there are the hanging lights which aren’t the brightest. That’s no problem, as we brought out plenty of dance floor lighting and created some dramatic, but elegant scenes. (Watch the cake cutting in the video below). On top of that, our white cyc light not only created powerful, timed strobes to create high energy sets, but also flooded the ENTIRE area with a even white light so everyone could enjoy the night’s activities. The photographer and videographer loved it!
Check out my photos below… as well as some great video… by great I mean content, as my assistant had some issues with the focus, lol.

Liz & Matt are an awesome couple! Like my wife and I, they both share a common job that allows them to talk industry jargon with each other– they’re both programmers! Matt also did a lot with live sound, so we got along quite well!

Their reception was at the Peggy Brown Building and I worked with a Dream Team! Diana with two of my favorite vendors and friends Tim Hicklin of Storybook Weddings, and Maggi with Piece of Cake By Maggi!
We mixed in lots of Latin favorites as Liz’s family is Hispanic and wanted a good mix of salsa, merengue, and bachata.
