Carines and Carlo had an incredible wedding with non-stop dancing to every genre out there. After a perfect meal served by the ever-amazing Eaglebrooke (Lakeland), I was able to bust out some great favorites and even “dig deep in the crates” for some good music to make sure everyone got to hear what they wanted. Lots of photos and videos can be seen below… sooooo click it!
I’m having a good streak of amazing weddings with some killer dance floors; Lauren and Calvin’s reception was no exception!
The beautiful Winter Park Farmer’s Market was transformed with pattern lights + uplights. The brick walls make a perfect texture to paint with lights, so just a little bit of lighting is all that’s needed to create a totally new atmosphere. Kristy Rapp (the coordinator) did a great job with overall décor to make the newlywed’s Kentucky theme come to life.
The music was just awesome.. and I’m not saying that because I was the DJ. Lauren and Calvin sent me some of their favorite songs, many which were dance hall and MANY which I adore as well.
Their family and friends came to party- that’s for sure!

Monika and Justin and their family and friends create the perfect dance crowd; no matter what was requested, and what I dropped, they danced to it! This was my first time at the Holy Trinity Reception Center in Maitland (basically Orlando, FL). To dress up the ballroom, we brought in dance floor lights (wirelessly controlled), uplights, a video screen for a special slide show and music videos, a Snap Yourself Silly Photobooth, and a spotlight for the special dances.
This was a great crowd and I had a blast from beginning to end. Check out the photos and my video below + the AWESOME trailer from You & I Pictures.
You know those events where you say “I was born for this” and yet while lots of technical twists and turns occur, everything fell to perfection?
Yea, this was one of those events. The Lakeland Hilton Garden Inn was transformed with help of us and Lakeland’s Party People Celebration Co., as they handled all the drapery and we did the lighting. We did do the drape behind the head table coupled with the vertical string lighting. LOTS of last minute changes were done to the design of the room since the ceremony had to be brought inside… Lakeland’s horrible for its bipolar weather; well, all of Florida is, really.
While a few changes modified the entire light design, it’s easy to work around that when you have a great team.
As for the event itself.. it was a BLAST to be the DJ of. Once the dance floor got started, it was non-stop action all the way through. With this being my kind of crowd (Polk County!) I got to throw in a lot of artists that only those from the 863 would know. Overall, it was a GREAT event. The beautiful lighting quickly took on a nightclub feel which completed the overall vibe.

Dan & Becky were introduced to me via Gini Beth of GB’s Formal Wear / Gini Beth Weddings & More. We teamed up with Mark Stewart who did a beautiful job decorating the Sebring 4 Points Sheraton Chateau Elan.
After I provided sound for the ceremony, which was in the divided Le Man Ballroom of the 4 Points Sebring, I provided DJ and lighting services for the reception. We had beautiful uplighting which matched the décor perfectly, and the white drapery enhanced the LED color floods. The black and white dance floor made an interesting canvas for the custom gobo monogram.
The party itself had a lot of dancers and I got to spin quite a few genres back and forth- this is the kind of wedding I love to be the DJ for! Check out the photos and videos below from this awesome Sebring wedding!
