Paul and Christina are a great couple who just wanted to party!! They hosted their beautiful reception at the Safety Harbor Resort in Tampa, FL. The ballroom was pretty enough by itself, but the uplighting we brought in on the columns around the dance floor plus the monogram made the room uniquely theirs. Add in a stylish dance floor wash and they had the perfect ambience that they had in mind!
Their guests were great, and we all cut up quite a few jokes… they made Kelly and I feel like family… love it! Plus, Paul and Christina are one of the most appreciative couples we’ve met, and that’s the best type of client in the world! Pics and videos below!
Julie and Eric are an amazing couple! They hosted their ceremony beachside at the Don Cesar and the reception soon followed at one of their amazing ballrooms. Our uplighting transformed the entire room. Check out the awesome pics and video below!
Luaren and Efrain hosted their reception in Tampa’s Westin Harbor Island. I’ve known the family for years now, as I’ve done many weddings for them, so I knew we were going to have a great time. Aside from non-stop dancing, the pink lighting really added to the overall look, and the couple added some fun touches, including a custom version of Scream & Shout.

Brad and Myriah’s wedding had a unique challenge– taking the beautiful Lake Ashton ballroom, which can seat close to 300 people, and make it work for their intimate 60-person wedding. The challenge lies in not making the room look bare. Using a careful combination of lighting, and having truss totems be the “star” of the show, we were able to achieve this.
Custom light programs and a great design incorporated their main goal for the their theme: using the 4 elements (5 if you’ve watched The 5th Element). Along with everything else, we projected a beautiful moon on the wall, stars on the ceiling, and water on the floor. Vines draped down the truss and color-matching uplighting throughout the walls. We used Lake Ashton’s video screen to project a custom ambient loop and to play a special speech from their son, who just entered the military.
Brad, serving in the Navy, wanted upmost respect for all the branches of service. Their memorial table was a nice touch and the dimming lights during the moment of silence fit in well!
Check out the videos below as well as the lighting design! The first half was done by my wife for our promotional stuff, whereas the second set of photos was taken by Bryan Glynn of BG Pictures!! (Link: BgPictures.com)
Sunni & Javier hosted their reception at the Hernando Beach Club. Due to Florida’s HORRIBLE summer of non-stop rain, we had to move the reception indoors. This made Sunni a bit sad, but with some last-minute thinking, Calvin (our SnapYourselfSilly Photobooth Operator) and I quickly took some uplights and lit up their arch with their wedding colors. This transformed the area and made Sunni cheer in delight!
The overall party was a blast, starting with the Whiskey Drinkin’ line dance right after the first dance. It was a GREAT way to get everyone involved. The party got put on pause to oversee the beautiful sunset over Hernando Beach, but it was worth it. Plus, it picked right back up the moment guests walked in. Check out the photos and video below, and feel free to admire the pretty dance floor lights!
