Haines City High is a small school with big spirit. The theme was 50s and the students LOVED the music we played… not just hip-hop, but techno, rock, and they kept requesting 50s all the way through 80s. This is certainly different than most homecomings. 

The package they chose is a small, modest one, but it packed a big bang compared to previous years (according to students). The students were VERY well behaved.. there were a few that wanted Slipknot and Manson, when they learned I couldn’t play that kind of music, they understood, were polite, and requested something different.

The uplighting featuring various shades of pink really fit the theme!

They also had a special performance by Elvis. It was a young kid (maybe 7-8) donning an Elvis outfit showing some great moves to his song.
