Our next stop in the 4SchoolsOnly’s We Survived the Apocalypse Prom Tour 2013 was for University High’s Prom, hosted at Disney’s Swan & Dophin. We came in with a similar setup to East Lake’s prom: The Original Showstopper, uplighting, and our Snap Yourself Silly! Photobooth. They added on some black lights and glow-in-the-dark bubbles.

As usual, University’s students DO NOT STOP unleashing massive waves of energy on the floor. Groups of students would be seen gathering around as they fistpumped to every song, even slower-tempo numbers! The admin is always a blast to hang out with on stage, and even the hotel staff danced. Good times! 200+ photos and videos below!

Sweet.. a DJ name like DJCraziAce just goes hand in hand with a Las Vegas theme! Eustis High hosted their 2013 prom at the beautiful Mission Inn. This was our first time working with them, and it was a pleasant experience; the food was amazing, the admin were a blast, and the students made us feel like at home as they danced non-stop all night.
Some great photos and videos below. Check ‘em out!

Man, was this a TOUGH drive! On the way to the Innisbrook resort, there was an accident at the end of Courtney Campbell that shut the entire bridge down. Nothing says “PANIC MODE” like sitting 2-3 hours on non-moving traffic.
Fun fact: The mid-90s E150 has one of the best engines Ford has made – the Straight 6.
Fun Fact #2: The ONLY downside to these engines is they don’t like to idle for more than an hour before overheating.
Fun Fact #3: Best way to cool down an overworked engine is to run the heater. Yes, we live in Florida.
Thank God the sea breeze was brisk and that the accident got cleared in time. Our staff, once we arrived, worked faster than ever before to get this huge Showstopper, Snap Yourself Silly! Photobooth, and uplights in 4 hours. Part of the sped-up process was in thanks to the amazing and helpful staff at Innisbrook!
However, it was all worth it! The students danced they moment they walked in and energy was through the roof! Check out the pics and video below!

Anclote High had a beautiful theme set and ready to go at the equally beautiful Bayanihan Arts & Event Center: Northern Lights (aka Aurora Borealis). The theme would be carried by a very colorful light show plus a series of video clips on a video screen. However, due to space, we couldn’t set up the video screen without taking some of the décor down, and that was too pretty for me to mess with. No big deal, by using a combination of special lighting, we recreated the Northern Lights right above the students’ heads.

It was stunning, and by beefing up their light show a bit and doing some last minute programming, we carried the theme perfectly and the client was in love! This is a smaller school, but the floor remained packed all night and the students enjoyed a performance by two of their fellow classmates. Check out the pics and videos below!

Lake Minneola’s 2nd prom is the first official prom with seniors. Being a new school, we’ve worked closely with them to establish some new traditions. One of those new traditions are INCREDIBLE proms!
This year, the theme was Great Gatsby, which already shows how awesome this school is. The chef at Disney’s Boardwalk made some of the most amazing chicken and tortellini alfredo ever. Yum! Meanwhile, we hosted a 20′s Trivia Game that the students played by texting in their answers. It was hectic, but a lot of fun. As the haze kicked in, dinner ended and prom went on a full-on frenzy! All this while our Snap Yourself Silly! Photobooth had a line a mile long!
Afterwards, SGA hosted a small after-party where the chaperones and admin could unwind and dance for a bit.. it was a blast! Check out the photos and video clips below!
