We were instantly hired to do Lake Minneola’s 2012 (first ever) prom after they saw our performance during ERHS’s 2011 Prom tour stop.
This is their first year as a school so there were no seniors. This was a small challenge for ticket sales, but they still sold and the students partied. Actually, they partied so hard (heck, even the teachers did) that the video had to be split into two jam-packed parts.

The prom was hosted at the AMAZING Disney’s Dolphin Hotel. I cannot say enough good things about the location and staff. Lindsey is TOP-notch and makes everyone, even vendors, feel like rock stars!
The theme was also based on Venice, Italy. We set up a Tower of Pisa on one side and the glass Italian street gobo on the other side which made a PERFECT backdrop to the amazing Gondola made by parent volunteers.
Glowsticks were a huge hit as was the light setup in general… they LOVED the glow in the dark bubbles!

Italian themes seem to be the big thing this year for our 4SchoolsOnly “Operation Double” Prom Tour 2012. This weekend’s stop touched quite a few schools, but my personal one was Mitchell High’s “Night in Venice” in Tampa, FL. The room was transformed with a giant glass moon gobo and an Italian street gobo (also glass) on either wall as well as stars in the ceiling and uplights.

We’ve been working with pasco-based MHS for years now and they have great set of students and teachers who are all dedicated to a great prom!
As usual, our Snap Yourself Silly photobooth was a huge hit!

I tagged along with Charles Casiano to the Don Vicente in Ybor, Tampa, to get some video footage of him for our main site: My Dream Reception. He suggested a tag-team DJ combo which was a lot of fun!

The Don Vicente is a beautiful location that really shows the historic side of Ybor. Charles took care of handling the ceremony in the main room and set up a cocktail hour system downstairs. Rumors say this place is haunted and people see ghosts all the time… yeah, basement.. great idea.
(You can, without a shadow of a doubt, tell this place used to be a speakeasy.)
The reception room is diveded into dining and dancing areas, but sound easily went from one room to another. The Don Vicente has a VERY unique layout– if you want an unforgettable place for your wedding, this is a MUST SEE!
We adorned the dance hall area with LED flood lights and stars across the ceiling!
As usual, Charles rocked it Spanglish style mixing a bit of American and Latin music. Check out the pics and video below!

UCF’s Zeta Beta Tau chapter hosted the ZBTahiti 2012: Project X edition. They provided their own DJ and sound, but needed an amazing light show to complement the night.
With it being outdoors and windy, we didn’t count on fog working very long, we used as much floods as possible VS scanning lights. This also gave a bigger BANG for the client’s budget.

Our lighting techs are also experienced A/V techs who stepped in when power went out and rerouted sound to another outlet in a matter of seconds to keep the party going.

A New York themed Sweet 16 has 4SO written all over it!
Shawna from 2 Sisters Events & Design created a STUNNING Sweet 16 for her niece, Taelor. Hosted at the Preservation Hall, formerly Lillian’s Nightclub of downtown Lakeland, the room’s ambiance matched the theme perfectly.

Our lighting system, suspended over the crowd, created the perfect touch! Check out the pics and video below!

After the FSC Pep Rally, we prepped to convert the Roux Library into a hot rave spot. At first, the librarian came up to me and asked “will this be loud?” Uhoh! I told him it would shake the books off the shelves…. hey, I wasn’t going to lie!

He said “Good. I like it loud.”
Awesome!
And so the Roux was trasformed. With a three story room that had a circular balcony, this was the perfect layout for a rave. No haze could be used, so we focused on bright, bold colors that were immediately contrasted by black lights. Our SnapYourselfSilly Photobooth gave everyone a bit to take home, and the sound annihilated the shelves.

AWESOME!
Though called “Rave at the Roux” the students wanted to hear a bit of everything… and thus they got so! Check out the pics and video!

Florida Southern College books frequent events with us… which is awesome since I live right down the road!
Our first event with them involved ZERO sound set up whatsoever. Instead, they asked us to set up a lighting rig in their gym to add a hype atmosphere to their pep rally.

Our spotlight also added the perfect amount of light for free throw contests, performances, and tracking their mascot (Go MOCS!) as he chased people around! Check out the great pics and some video clips below!

Sometimes, simple looks better! Keith and Areej hosted their reception at the Winter Park Farmer’s Market (past Orlando). This is a former train station surrounded by brick, adorned sparingly but the charm is certainly visible.

They requested all white uplights and an all white light show, which blended perfetly with the venue.
Their family and guests were big partiers, dancing to everything from Top 40, club, oldies, and a large array of Arabic music, especially Dabke. Monica and I had a great time! Check out the pics and video below!

ArrMaz Chemicals had a fun group! Their theme, of course, was centered around Christmas as we were creeping up on the most awesome holiday ever!
Hosted at the Lakeland Center, Adam and I set up my normal sound system and added some requested lighting to really light up the dance floor!

Check out the pics and video below… we had a great time! A big thanks goes to Michele for sending us this referral. (We did her wedding back in February)

Ocoee High School always knows how to have a good time! To follow up their Powderpuff game (guys cheerlead as girls play the football game), Ocoee hosted a bonfire followed by an outdoor dance.

Adam held it down during the game while I handled the 1s and 2s out on the dance floor. Check out the photos and pics below!
