Anni & Bubba belong to a large group of friends and family, most of whom I’ve performed weddings for, so naturally I knew this would be a pretty good crowd. However, Anni & Bubba weren’t concerned with all the complicated details of a wedding that often stress couples out. Instead, Bubba created a unique dance floor in their very own backyard, set up a nice eating area (Bubbaque’s BBQ is amazing!) and invited family and friends for a relaxed, fun time.
Bubba said it best: “Everyone came here to party, the fact that I’m getting married is a sweet bonus!”
Everyone was down to earth, treated us like family, and all celebrated a very special day for Anni & Bubba Hester.
Oh yeah, did I mention my driveshaft fell off my van one mile from their house? Thank God that they, too, live in Lakeland! Pics and video below (of the reception, not my broken driveshaft). Tim and Patty with Storybook Weddings are dear friends of mine; so when they told me their song was coming from Afghanistan and they wanted to throw him a party, I had to be able to help! It’s always an honor to help those who sacrifice for our freedoms!

Justin and Kristen danced all night, and THAT’S the kind of crowd I like! The overall wedding was perfect: cool weather for the ceremony, delicious food for the reception, working with Deana and her crew @ Sassy Soiree, and spending time spinning some awesome music at the S-S Ranch… this was truly a recipe for success.
The overall playlist was… interesting; and I mean this in a good way. It’s not often that I get to jump from antebellum-esque country music to rap and end with a mini-rave. Overall, it was a great night! Check out the pics and video below!

Only Florida Southern College (Lakeland) creates a rave in a library… and man is it a blast. Though labeled “Rave at the Roux,” we jump through many genres. It’s a sweet setup, as we set everything up on the balcony, with more lights at floor level, and a photobooth in the corner!

Charles and I were pumped up for this wedding! We teamed up with Gini Beth of Gini Beth’s Weddings & More to create an amazing night for Sydni and Erick. Their ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful Sorosis Building, AKA the Junior League Center, in Lakeland.
This was a perfect example of a party that goes from “bubbly wedding reception” to “high energy club” almost instantly. They were overall a great crowd! Check out the pics and video below!
