Wow.. the 2012 4SchoolsOnly 90K Tour was an amazing ride, but all good things must come to a close. Our last school was in my own county for HCHS. Haines City has been a very loyal client with some of the coolest students I’ve seen. The energy was through the roof all night no matter what I played.

Indeed, Sanford’s own, Seminole High School, really turned up this year… it was an intense experience for everyone, including my crew. We were awestruck at how good everything looked… it was better than expected.
On a personal note, my trusty E150 has 217,000 miles on it (at the time of writing) and had the original serpentine belt. Apparently something flew up and frayed it. Needless to say, an emergency repair had to be done on the spot… but all ended well thanks to Kelly and Christina who came in last minute to help tow the trailer and help us set up. (Waiting for the tow truck and repair supplies set us back 2 hours).
We always have a backup plan, and ultimately, everything always works out. God has watched our backs this homecoming season, we’ve been blessed for sure!!!
That being said, the energy was infectious! Check out the photos and video below!!

I got a text from the sponsor during the summer that gave me a sneak preview into this year’s theme: The Last Knight (aka, the end of the world.)
Immediately my head spun at all the different angles we could take this. I was totally psyched and so were the students. The front entrance was really neat:
As you walk in, you see emergency lights and a people in hazmat suits trying to escape. Our strategically placed strobes made it look like the alarms were going off inside. Another light gave a nuclear waste type feel.
A re-make of the school’s sign is on the floor, busted up from the obvious natural disasters.
You walk under a fallen tree and are now inside a dark tunnel with broken pieces of road. Strategically placed strobes looked like downed power lines and thick clouds of fog were timed to match the whole look.
As you enter the gym, the lobby is made to look like a tented mobile hospital.
The inside was decorated with burning flames on one side, enhanced by our lighting, and a giant tidal waves with a looping video clip of end of the world scenes.
From the dancing standpoint, we provided photobooth, overhead lighting, satellite lighting structures, a giant 20′ video screen, and lots and LOTS of energy!
This, by far, has been my favorite theme. WOW!

This year’s popular theme is GLO CRAZY aka Neon Nights aka just a general black light theme. They’re popular because they’re easy to decorate for, are an incredibly attractive theme, and practically sells itself if the students know what they’re in for!
East Ridge ALWAYS brings the energy… check it out below!
