4SchoolsOnly’s “We Survived the Apocalypse” 2013 Prom Tour is only growing bigger and bigger!
With 3 other proms on the same date, my crew and I trucked over to the Peabody Hotel for Seminole High School’s prom. This was a beautiful lighting setup, similar to last week’s, but we added a 20′ video screen for a massive visual impact. The energy was through the roof and (as usual) the students gave nothing but compliments!

Their vintage circus theme was carried out with our beautiful wall projections and interactive stilt-walkers!
Check out the pics and videos below.. including the school’s Harlem Shake and even one our staff did, too!

Yes, 4SchoolsOnly does tour through middle schools, so if you’re a middle school dance planner… buzz me. You will LOVE what we offer.

I’ve been working with Parkway Middle for years. While I personally don’t do middle schools (our other DJs cover that) due to schedule conflicts with my current productions, I always find a way to make it work with Parkway. They have an incredible set of students and teachers. This year, the culinary class (you read that right, at a middle school.. wow!) created amazing dishes for the 8th graders. I was treated to some delicious Fettucine Alfredo and some very tasty pastries… love it!
The energy was intense.. to the point that I felt like I was at a prom!
I brought out a basic light rig, but it was VERY effective. Check out the photos and videos after the break!
Oh yeah, and leave a comment, too.

So the 4SchoolsOnly “Operation Double” 2012 Prom Tour comes to a phenomenal ending thanks to the amazing teachers and students at CCHS. Not once did the energy die, and they wore me out so much I brought a co-MC (yeah, it was THAT crazy)!
Their theme was Titanic and the outside was beautifully decorated to reflect such. We set up blue uplights, a realistic moon projection, blue stars on the ceiling and water effect lights to really carry their theme.
The 14′ video screen engulfed the entire corner while a 35×35 X-Shaped truss swallowed the dance floor. We set up flood lights ON the floor, ON the walls, ON the ceiling… just everywhere!

Outside, our SnapYourselfSilly Photobooth got the students’ attention as they walked in.
You HAVE to watch the video… the energy was intense… we were so worn out we didn’t go home– we crashed in a hotel room that night. The Doubletree by Hilton (next to Seaworld, Orlando) treated us like royalty throughout!

As usual, UHS rocks it for another year!
This time, prom is held at the World Center Marriott with an awesome Arabian Nights theme. They continued tradition with the Original Showstopper package and chose uplighting this year.

Our Snap Yourself Silly! Photobooth was a huge hit!
The students, staff, and chaperones made for an amazing audience. Check out the pics and videos below!

I always get administrators up on stage dancing a bit, but these guys really rock out– they dance as much as the students and have fun with every song I play. Mix that with the energy I get from the students and you can see why I love performing for this school!

I was stressed out, can’t lie. 4SchoolsOnly had it’s busiest weekend ever. Luckily, I was (once again) at the amazing Dolphin hotel where Lindsey made it SUPER-EASY for me to get work done and stress less about this event. Not to mention that the school admin is so easy to work with I was prepared for this one since last year!
Their theme was… wait for it… Midnight Masquerade in VENICE (see a pattern here?) and they did a great job decorating, especially outside. (No, I didn’t get pics of that and I wish I had.)
You gotta see the amazing photos (wife took most of them) and video below!
