Reggie and Marilyn hosted a super-fun wedding at the Lakeland Junior League’s Sorosis building. The music consisted of everything from Latin, oldies, throwbacks, 90s, and top 40… it was a great mix! Check out the photos and videos below! Big thanks to Deanna of Sassy Soiree for helping us pull off a perfect wedding reception!
Anita and Louis were SO MUCH FUN! On the sales meeting, they told us how much they loved old school, Latin, reggae, break beats, and freestyle. I knew I had to be there and I’m glad I didn’t miss out. The Innisbrook resort is an amazing venue and we worked with some great people. Check out the photos and video below!
We came across an email lead with LOTS of info; this paragraph stuck out to me:
“I came across Arnoldo’s blog when searching for Florida Aquarium related items and I immediately was impressed by his blending of different genres as well as his great transitions between songs. I’ve been to a lot of weddings and I have never heard something so well blended. I am very interested in having Arnoldo specifically for my wedding.”
I love what I do, and I love it when others notice the hard work we as a company put behind our events. These are the clients I am proud to work with for their amazing day. After LOTS of planning and LOTS of help from the Florida Aquarium, Reggie and I pulled off a pretty sweet lighting setup in less than 1.5 hour setup time.
The party itself was a BLAST! They danced to everything imaginable and gave me some GREAT requests to work with, too.
The email Gerri & Dan sent me described the night perfectly:
We had an awesome time! We knew you’d be an awesome DJ for our wedding, but you definitely surpassed even our expectations.
The lighting, for one, was incredible. It barely even looked like the same room. And then when the dancing began it turned into quite the light show. I was so busy dancing, I don’t even think I was able to appreciate all of the intricacies of the lights. I just know that it was all encompassing and was absolutely awesome.
Also, Gerri was really ecstatic that you were able to mix Radio/Video into the Hora. I wasn’t sure if it could be done, but I figured you would find a way :).
You kept the energy up all night and we never stopped dancing. After the wedding, everyone was saying how awesome our DJ was.
I had actually talked you up when I first found your blog to a buddy at work. I told him that no matter what, I wanted you to be the DJ for my wedding. He thought I was setting my expectations too high and setting myself up for disappointment.
After the wedding the first thing he says to me is “I have to say, you were absolutely right about that DJ. He was worth every penny.”
I absolutely agree with that statement.
I told Gerri yesterday that I was sad that we didn’t have another wedding or event we could use you at in the short term because we really enjoyed you as a person and of course your skills as a DJ.
So, I hope that if my son or daughter has a bar/bat mitzvah, that we can have you as our DJ again. Unfortunately that wouldn’t be for 14-15 years, but I guarantee that if you’re still in the DJ business, you will be our go to guy .
We will definitely be writing you a kick ass review.
We really appreciate everything you and Reggie did to make our day awesome. You helped us put together a wedding that I don’t think anyone will be forgetting any time soon.

I’m having a good streak of amazing weddings with some killer dance floors; Lauren and Calvin’s reception was no exception!
The beautiful Winter Park Farmer’s Market was transformed with pattern lights + uplights. The brick walls make a perfect texture to paint with lights, so just a little bit of lighting is all that’s needed to create a totally new atmosphere. Kristy Rapp (the coordinator) did a great job with overall décor to make the newlywed’s Kentucky theme come to life.
The music was just awesome.. and I’m not saying that because I was the DJ. Lauren and Calvin sent me some of their favorite songs, many which were dance hall and MANY which I adore as well.
Their family and friends came to party- that’s for sure!

Monika and Justin and their family and friends create the perfect dance crowd; no matter what was requested, and what I dropped, they danced to it! This was my first time at the Holy Trinity Reception Center in Maitland (basically Orlando, FL). To dress up the ballroom, we brought in dance floor lights (wirelessly controlled), uplights, a video screen for a special slide show and music videos, a Snap Yourself Silly Photobooth, and a spotlight for the special dances.
This was a great crowd and I had a blast from beginning to end. Check out the photos and my video below + the AWESOME trailer from You & I Pictures.
