After Frankie’s Sweet 16 Friday, I was pumped up for Freedom High School’s prom. FHS was once told by a competitor that we DON’T have the best light show in Florida… it looks like we debunked that myth pretty quickly!
Choosing from our most popular series of packages, the Showstopper, this Orlando school chose one of my favorites, the Showstopper3. Featuring over 70′ of trussing and a 20′ wide screen; (not diagonal people, 20′ wide)!!! The lightshow was amazing… I won’t delve too much into technical details but let’s just say you HAVE to watch the video!
Freedom is a very unique school; despite the urban population, the students LOVE techno, pop, and dance music… with the usual Rap, Reggaeton, Salsa, Merengue, and Reggae.
A couple highlights:
Worked with the new Principal, Dr. Borders. A very nice person to work with and very eager person to help create an amazing prom.
Ms. Light (the sponsor), did an amazing job finding a great balance between DJ, decorations, and location. This really was a perfect event!
Complete DJ thing next: Almost 300 amps of power to play with!! I only needed 100, but the extra was always welcomed.

Very little grinding thanks to high energy mixes and 1000 glowsticks!!
The kids did the Hokey Pokey– I kid you not… it was remixed in with the new dance craze, Stanky Legg.
Mr. Youtz did a GREAT job with the Senior Superlatives… there were some unique categories!
My crew! My wife (Monica), Derek and Ray are amazing workers who put 1000% into this job.. no matter what it takes!

When this school decided to do the very first dance in their gym instead of a hotel, they wanted to do something special… so they used their favorite DJs from Orlando *ahem ahem* and created an amazing Valentine’s Day dance featuring Orlando Superstar group, TREAL.
What NO ONE expected was that Cupid was going to make a surprise appearance. But that’s what happens when you’re rockin’ with the best.
You already know how much we can rock school dances, so we’ll just talk about the concert.
3AM opened up for TREAL, and the ladies LOVED them! Their choreography was phenomenal and they really had a great stage presence. They set the right tone for TREAL to come out to! They opened their first set with songs about the special ladies in the fella’s lives. I could see teachers dancing in their position as the students sang along with the group.
The second set consisted of extremely hyped up songs– no grinding here, that’s for sure! TREAL’s a clean, all-ages group who puts out school approved shows that will get even the pickiest student jumping. They have the most unique stage presence I’ve seen– as much as I love rap, I’m not a fan of rap concerts but I’d line up to see TREAL any day!
Then the lights flash quickly as they jump to their smash hit, Not Locked Down. The lights shut off for a second and when they reappeared Cupid was on stage as they all performed the live remixed song! The students couldn’t believe their eyes!

After buying an industry standard hazer (superior version of fog), we saw our light shows go to a complete new level. This machine does something not many hazers/foggers do: flood the entire room with it without making it hard to breathe.
The particles are virtually invisible until you see the lights shine through them. Check this video out to see how amazing some of our lasers look in our office!
