Click below to see a few pics and video from a great homecoming dance!

One of our smallest setups, with a 8′ screen rocked the house tonight. Their chosen package didn’t come with a screen, but their budget allowed for a 8′ screen (we normally use 13.5′ as a smallest, but this was part of a compromise).
This school absolutely LOVED to get crunk, as you’ll see halfway in the video. The staff was a pleasure to work with and the energy was flying through the roof!
This is a very exciting dance for me because you will be able to see the new one-step camera rig I made for our live video. Instead of rigging, calibrating, and setting up the video camera and RF extenders, now I just do it in one step. It will work with either a tripod/crank stand (which was NOT possible before) or on trussing. W00t!
Here’s some pics, excuse the iPhone quality.
First, we have the the new camera plug-and-play rig!

You’ll see the 3-way is where you plug in the power and there’s an S-Video plugin at the bottom of the base.

Set-up. I didn’t want to bring in the video rig for ONE source (it all feeds to the computer for a final mix-down and upscale conversion to VGA. I used a car monitor wired to a 12V source. Works GREAT!

We had Sing-a-longs during a couple slow songs. (Long and tedious process to sync up both songs!)

Halfway through the techno set… ended at 215 BPM!! WHOA!
AND NOW! VIDEO!
