After she finished assisting me at the party at the Village at Lake Ned, we drove to the next event where I assisted her. Johnny called us wanting to throw a special party for his mother-in-law, Candi. He didn’t think there’d be a lot of dancing, just a sporadic set every now and then, but these people danced ALL NIGHT LONG! It was awesome!

If the Village at Lake Ned had a different pet policy (I have a dog, cat, snake, lizard, 3 birds, and hopefully a penguin), then I would’ve moved there based on this party; They really DO love their residents!

A nice cold pool in the center with drinks and various foodstuffs, a giant blowup slide on one side and snowcones and a bouncehouse on the other made this an awesome time for the residents. At the end of the night, they all gathered to watch a movie as they swam!

You gotta watch the video! It’s short, but this little boy danced so much he had an audience– you’ll love it!

However, this also means we have 50 amazing friends (some who drove from almost 4 hours away) to have a blast with us!

The setup was incredible… LED floods, blacklights, lasers, and awesome centerpiece effects coupled with MASSIVE sound that shakes the place, and the party took off quickly.

A private performance from my good friend Thrill da Playa took the party to a whole new level. Thrill da Playa isthe frontman for the 69 Boyz (Tootsee Roll, Kitty Kitty, and many others) and producer of MANY platinum hits (The Train, Space Jam Theme, Whoot! There It Is, etc).

We come out with Bubble, Snow, Glowsticks, prizes… whatever the event calls for.. and we design a custom program and music list for a one-of-a-kind birthday party. We’ve not had the chance to film these events, and even this clip shows very little.. but it does show you a bit of the bubbles and snow.

(Yes, they are slip-resistant bubbles.. we use proper floor covering as well).

I brought out a bigger light show than expected– instead of just a pinspot box, I brought out a lightshow similar to a wedding/small teen party light show, but it flooded the area really well! Of course, I volunteered to DJ to save them the cost. I had a blast since I got to play a little bit of everything.. especially merengue. ;) Halfway through the night we threw out 100 glowsticks and have ourselves a mini-rave. We ended the night with Calle Ocho by Pitbull, and everyone went nuts!!!
