The Life Skills Center (East Polk County Campus) had their annual THANK YOU DINNER and wanted us to provide background music.
Ohhh.. I’m sorry, that’s not in my vocabulary, haha. What turned out to be high-energy background music ended up in a soul train with the teachers VS the students. (Food was amazing, too; ribs fell right off their bones!) Check out the photos below!
80% of my 2009 events are summarized here…. unfortunately a couple videos didn’t make it because 1) dumb hard drive deleted them 2) I didn’t film for privacy reasons.

In case you haven’t heard of BubbleMania Parties, WEBSITE HERE, it’s a pretty cool program. We come out with Bubble, Snow, Glowsticks, prizes… whatever the event calls for.. and we design a custom program and music list for a one-of-a-kind birthday party. We’ve not had the chance to film these events, and even this clip shows very little.. but it does show you a bit of the bubbles and snow.
(Yes, they are slip-resistant bubbles.. we use proper floor covering as well).

A Premier Entertainment is proud to be the Haines City Chamber of Commerce’s newest member! We just attended their last networking event and it was a blast! We’ll be joining our other local CoC’s soon so keep your eye out for us!
I just did a graduation party in Winter Park— it was a lot of fun!! I brought out a bigger light show than expected– instead of just a pinspot box, I brought out a lightshow similar to a wedding/small teen party light show, but it flooded the area really well! My batteries were low, so not much footage was taken. Check out a quick highlight video of the night as well as the really cool lights that sit elegantly on top of the BOSE speakers!!!
My church, New Hope (in Winter Haven, FL), hosted another Family Camp in Vero Beach. Of course, I volunteered to DJ to save them the cost. I had a blast since I got to play a little bit of everything.. especially merengue. Halfway through the night we threw out 100 glowsticks and have ourselves a mini-rave. We ended the night with Calle Ocho by Pitbull, and everyone went nuts!!!
Perhaps this is one of the most touching parties I’ve had the honor of entertaining… just check out the video! This was a Winter Formal Ball for various classes for the mentally challenged. These guys were so HAPPY with everything that was done for them. They came in donning their best formal outfits, came prepared to sing, dance, and laugh as Santa came out with gifts.
At the very end I was greeted with a special request for Karaoke. His name is James and said he’d like to sing Michael Jackson’s Beat It. I asked him if he needed the words and he said no need. He impressed everyone with his singing AND his moves! Honestly, he did this performance better than 99% of Karaoke singers I’ve seen.

The community of Dundee did a great job putting together a Halloween festival for everyone of all ages to enjoy. While everything was outside, I was inside in the “break area” where people could eat. This was also where the pie-eating contest and the costume contest were held.
My stage was set up like a graveyard, and I was asked to DJ in costume. No problem… I got in serious character for the evening… I was the grim reaper, better known as the Death Jockey.
My voice and acting classes from my (Art-based) high school REALLY came into play here. I had a great sound clip (no video– too many kids) but it got corrupted of the voice used. It wasn’t a traditional screechy voice (like Tales from the Crypt)… it was a monotone-ish, devil-sounding voice. Lots of humor was thrown along with the announcements to make sure no kids got scared AND to not make it so “evil.”
My head stayed down at all times (no mask, too hot) except when I put the cape over my face to see what was going on (it’s a one-way fabric.. I can see out, but they can’t see in).
It was HARD to be interactive and lead line dances without people seeing your face!

Providence Golf and Country club in Davenport, FL has invited us once again to entertain their Karaoke night. Sorry if I didn’t include photos or video, but there were several small children and for their safety I opt out of posting their photos.
It was a blast– and Sally and her staff are top-notch. The food was delicious, too. My favorite was the mushroom and steak bites. These combined three great things: mushrooms and steak in a bite-sized form. MMM mmmm MMMM!!
For you gear junkies, I posted some cool pics of my new setup. I am using an ADJ mixer (which isn’t all too bad, just lacks some crucial features) as a placeholder until my Denon arrives (thank YOU, Nathan!). The smaller footprint of the new mixer (Denon is the same size) allows my screen to stay halfway in, making my setup a bit more elegant.
I passed out a few cards and even had a quick sit-down with a couple (after the evening was over) to discuss their wedding!
