I got the opportunity to entertain at another charity auction at Eaglebrooke. This was for St. Joseph’s and their theme was Havana Nights. Ohmygoodness, let me tell you how AMAZING the food was: arros con pollo (which the Tico in me made into Gallo Pinto thanks to ample amounts of onion and butter), pork, plantains del orno, and a superb tres leches to top it off.
Sure, Tres Leches is from Nicaragua (not according to Nestle, haha)… but every Hispanic country serves it nowadays.
It was a small dancing crowd of about 15-20, but they danced all night!
Just in case you forgot– we have an entire sector of our company that handles all A/V Productions: Rentals, set-up, engineering, etc.
AT&T Hired us to help pull together their high-energy basketball theme for their presentation to Best Buy Mobile’s managers from around the nation. AT&T’s upbeat presentation was a huge change of pace from the other carrier’s “stuffy business” presentations.
…and I got to hang out with triple NBA championship winner John Salley.
Eaglebrooke’s 2nd Annual Celebrity Night to raise funds for the American Cancer Society went off without a hitch!
Amazing food, a “drag” show put on by members, tons of dancing, auctions, and lots of alcohol were the perfect ingredients for a great night!! Members donated their time to become the staff at Eaglebrooke. Together, they raised $6,200!!! CONGRATS!
As I was leaving my house, I worried about this party, not because of the crowd, but because I had NO VOICE and a sinus infection that lasted over 2 months. Luckily three things came into play: 1) My wife came with me 2) Don from Alan Jay Auto was the guest MC (we always play off each other, haha) and 3) These people dance non-stop!
This was my second year performing for the Heartland Realtors and they are such an amazing group! Don and I cracked jokes on each other on and off the mic and he left them hyped up enough that they were ready to dance.
Last year was all about 80s and rock… this year they loved 90s dance and Top40. It got so intense they everyone popped the balloons to pull out the flashing LEDs. As soon as that happened, all the lights were shut off and a rave came into play!
80% of my 2009 events are summarized here…. unfortunately a couple videos didn’t make it because 1) dumb hard drive deleted them 2) I didn’t film for privacy reasons.
WOW! Corporate Christmas parties just don’t get any better, not wilder, than this!!! After a great dinner hosted by 4 Point Sheraton’s Chateau Elán, these people were READY to party! What made this party so great? A packed dance floor the entire night— to every kind of song you could think of! I was able to go from 60s and beatmix straight to Lil Wayne and the crowd kept lovin’ it! A great mix of Italians, Hispanics, a great bunch from Miami, New York, Chicago and of course locally made this party as unique as they were! Requests were flying everywhere and they loved every bunch of it– especially the line dances!
I love the staff at Admiral’s Inn in Winter Haven, and since this is the third year in a row that I’ve done their party.. I guess they love me, too!
They’re such a fun bunch, requesting everything from disco, rock, Top40, down to Old School music. We also did every slide you could think of, Cha CHa, Cupid, Love Slide, and of course Mississippi Stomp. Check out the video below to see the fun time we all had!
Not the first for our company, but I had my first Christmas party for this year… and it was a blast! I have to say, my favorite part was mixing different cultures as we had plenty of people asking for Disco, Latin, Indian, and even some reggae! It was great seeing everyone dancing to each other’s style of music creating one fun dance floor.
The banghra went over really well, especially Jazzy B’s music. Check out the video below!
Florida Housing Coalition is one of my favorite corporate clients– I still remember the first party I did with Rue. It was an all-night celebration! This year was no different. Hosted at the Rosen Shingle Creek, I enjoyed seeing many familiar faces as well as being invited to enjoy Rosen’s A-grade food! Check out some amazing pics and video below!
